The Gosforth Schools’ Trust is a partnership of ten schools and one school partner from the North East sector of Newcastle upon Tyne and Newcastle City Council who have successfully worked together for many years. They believe that through working together in a robust, collaborative and mutually supportive framework, they can achieve more for their children and the communities they serve.
Our Gosforth pyramid is committed to providing smooth and natural progression for each child’s education, with dynamic learning continuing uninterrupted through transfer at nine and thirteen. All schools in the Gosforth Pyramid work in close collaboration to ensure that subjects and initiatives are fully developed across phases.
The Gosforth schools work closely together throughout the year with joint training for the staff as well as creating and providing joint opportunities for the children such as music and art activities.
Broadway East First School will be the first school in the Gosforth Pyramid of schools and in the Gosforth Schools’ Trust and is planning a relocation to Newcastle Great Park. This park features a brand new state of the art building with great opportunities for indoor and outdoor learning.
